"You cannot pour from a vessel God hasn't been invited to fill — self-care is stewardship, not selfishness."

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
3 John 1:2

About This Pillar:

This is the heart of the post-adoption journey. You cannot give what you do not have. When your nervous system is in constant survival mode, your ability to parent, lead, and love is compromised.

Stewardship is the practice of caring for the vessel God has entrusted to you. This includes managing your nervous system, recognizing triggers, planning for rest, and understanding that "self-care" is a spiritual mandate. We move from "I should do this" to "I need this to stay in the fight."
